Christmas Services

It is probably about time that I posted something about the Christmas services at Good Shepherd, and I am going to throw in the fourth Sunday of Advent for good measure. In terms of the Church Year Christmas begins on Christmas Eve, and continues through to Epiphany Eve, commonly called Twelfth Night. The feast of the Epiphany is both the end of Christmas, and the beginning of the brief season of Epiphany-tide, which focuses on the early life of Our Lord.


Advent 4 - Sunday, Dec. 21st

11:00am Holy Communion (followed by coffee and refreshments)

5:00pm Evensong


Christmas Eve - Weds., Dec. 24th

7:30pm Sung Communion


Christmas Day - Thurs., Dec. 25th

11:00am Holy Communion preceded by Shortened Morning Prayer


Holy Innocents' - Sunday, Dec. 28th

11:00am Nine Lessons and Carols

5:00pm Holy Communion


Christmas II - Sunday, Jan. 4th 2026

11:00am Holy Communion (coffee afterwards) 5:00pm Evensong


Epiphany - Tuesday, January 6th

5:30pm Sung Communion
